Jaime was born in Lima Peru in 1950.
Rowing Experience: Starting rowing in 1966.
Favorite boat: pair w/ coxswain.
Rowed in the Pan-American games in 1971 Cali, Colombia.
Joined Vesper Boatclub in '72 and started sculling under coach Anna Thomas.
Competed in '72 and '73 in US and rowed another year in Peru thereafter.
Began rowing again in 1989 in Alexandria and has been competing ever since at US Nationals, Masters Nationals and World Masters and the Nike Games.
Coaching Experience:
1994 Intern Assistant Coach under Dee Campbell.
1995 Led TC Williams Freshmen 8+ to 4th place finish at Stotesbury and 3rd at Scholastic Nationals.
1996 Led Freshman 8+ to 3rd at Stotesbury.

Megan Lister – JV Women
This is Megan's 3 rd year coaching for the Wolverines, and second coaching the JV girls. She coached at Marietta High School before relocating to the DC area. She graduated from Marietta College where she was a member of the crew team. Megan also rowed in high school it the Hun School in Princeton, NJ. She is currently a teacher at Sandburg MS and is looking forward to an exciting year on the water.
Jack Hickey – JV Men
This is Jack's second year with the team as the assistant coach for the JV boys team. Jack has lived for the past 25 years in Alexandria and is a retired Detective Sargeant of the Metropolitan Police Department. He earned a B.S. from the American University, which included studies at the University of London. While with the DC Police Department, Jack also attended programs and seminars sponsored by the FBI, Internal Revenue Service and the New York City Street Crime program. He has testified as an expert witness in the Federal Courts on Narcotics, Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture. After retiring from the Metropolitan Police Department Jack opened a Investigative firm along with two other retired law enforcement officers. The firm is Hickey, Miller and Bailey, Inc. and works with law firms in the DC area.
Jack began rowing when his daughter decided to join her high school crew team at Bishop Ireton High School. His involvement with the Bishop Ireton Crew Team for the four years Maggie was a student, included being both Vice President and President of the BI Crew Boosters as well as being an assistant coach for the B.I. Team. Jack has taken Level I and Level II Coaches Training from U.S. Rowing. Currently, Jack rows with the Alexandria Community Rowing five day men's competitive program. He rows both in the sweep program and also rows as a sculler, competing in a double. Jack says he loves the sport, and generally rows six days a week when the weather permits.
Jack says he looks forward to being a part of the West Potomac High School Program will do his best to help the students progress and enjoy the sport.
Mike Stilwell – Men's Freshmen/Novice
This is Mike's second year coaching for West Potomac, however, Mike has been part of West Potomac Crew for 6 years as the operations manager for the team. Mike currently coaches the men's freshmen and novices as well as coaching rowers in the sculling program. Mike began rowing in high school as a student at TC Williams HS and George Washington Middle School. He rowed for 5 years at TC as well as rowing for 3 summers with Old Dominion Boat Club after high school.

Virginia Stilwell – Women's Freshmen
Virginia, known as Ginny to the girls and the team, started rowing at the age of 12 for Alexandria at the TC Williams boat house in the summer novice program and followed the sport to high school at West Potomac. Ginny joined the West Potomac crew team as a freshman under head coach Malcolm Doldron, where she joined the Varsity eight. The following 3 years Ginny remained a member of the Varsity eight and was elected Women's Junior Captain and Women's Senior Captain in her junior and senior years respectively. Ginny joined the Old Dominion Boat Club select crew team fall 2004 and fall 2005 where she raced competitively medaling over 5 times and taking away 4 gold medals fall of her senior year. Ginny graduated West Potomac and was recruited on a rowing scholarship to West Virginia University where she joined the Mountaineers varsity team her freshman year.
Ginny is ready and excited to get on the water and help WEPO race to the top!
