2009-2010 Dues amount has been set!

 

Annual dues for the 2009 – 2010 season are $750.00.

Attend the Winter meeting on Feb. 6th 2010 for more details.

Annual dues for the 2008 – 2009 rowing season were $650.  For families with more than one crew member, dues are reduced by $50 for each additional member. Separate winter conditioning fees are set at $195 and will be applied toward payment of the full season dues.  Additionally, rowers dues may be reduced by soliciting donations in the rower’s name in the amount of 25% of the donated amount.  Additional information is available for anyone interested. 

 

In order to include rowers in winter training for insurance and other reasons, they must be paid members of WPCB.  A minimum payment of $195 must be sent to Carol Bolger by November 15.  Checks should be made payable to “WPCB.”  Also necessary for winter training are an Emergency Care Form and VHSL (Virginia High School League) Physical Form; these forms must be on file with the coaches at WPHS (send to Carol Bolger).  Both forms are available at the West Potomac Activities Office or online at www.fcps.edu.  Athletes who participate in a fall or winter sport should inform Carol Bolger that the VHSL form has already been submitted.

 

Full dues must be paid by the Winter Potluck and Membership Meeting.  If the total expenses are more than your family can pay at one time, a payment schedule can be arranged.  Families should also be aware that a financial hardship waiver of dues is available.  These options can be discussed in confidence with our Treasurer, Ellen Meyer, 703.799.7524 or eastellen@aol.com.

 

Rower conditioning and training begins in earnest in mid-November and rower dues, either paid partially or in full, need to be made by November 15, each year.
