Directions to the Occoquan Site

Directions from Washington D.C.: Take I395 South to I95. Continue South about 15 miles. Just after crossing the Occoquan River take the Route 123 exit North and proceed approximately 3 miles to Hampton Road. Turn left at the light and go approximately 1 mile to Van Thompson Road and turn left. Follow Van Thompson to parking lots.

Directions from south: Take I95 North to the Route 123 exit. Proceed as above.

Take I95 South - toward Richmond, exit 84A and merge onto I-295 S toward Rocky Mt NC/Richmond International, Take exit 28A to I-64 E toward Norfolk/VA Beach,Take exit 220 to merge onto Eltham Rd/VA-33 E toward W Point Continue to follow VA-33 E, onto Glenns Rd/VA-198 E,Turn left at Dutton Rd/VA-198 E, Slight right at Burkes Pond Rd/State Route 602 2.4 mi Turn left at John Clayton Memorial Hwy/VA-14 E/VA-3 W Continue to follow VA-14 E 7.9 mi Turn right at VA-14 E/VA-198 E 1.7 mi Turn right at VA-14 E 1.9 mi Turn right at State Route 614/Williams Wharf Rd.

Parking is approximately one half mile offsite, a shuttle is provided. Large bulky items (such as large coolers) are allowed, but can difficult due to limited space on the buses.
